African Queens Dance Company will be performing at the City of San Leandro's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and Oratorical Festival. Each year 3rd-12th grade student contestants perform original or well-known essays, speeches, or poems in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s message of peace, tolerance, and social justice. African Queens Dance Company will be one of the featured entertainers for the event. The celebration also includes crafts for children and light refreshments.
