African Queens Dance Company will be the featured entertainment at the 2014 Unity Bar Dinner in Sacramento this week. The Unity Bar Association of Sacramento will honor Sacramento’s diverse community and the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Amendment passage with an evening of networking, dancing, dining and distinguished speakers, Windie O. Scott and Dr. Clarence B. Jones. Windie Scott, master of ceremonies for the evening, is a former State Bar of California Trustees Board Member and has served as President of the Sacramento County Bar, the Women Lawyers of Sacramento, and the Wiley Manuel Bar Association. Dr. Jones, who will serve as the keynote speaker for the evening, is a Scholar Writer in Residence at Martin Luther King, Jr. Research & Education Institute at Stanford University and a Visiting Professor at University of San Francisco . Please join us for this historic evening.
